Charroux is located in the heart of the Vienne department in the Poitou Charentes France. It is a busy town with many local shops & a market once a week. It is also a local tourist attraction with its ancient Abbey, which means there is passing trade all year round.  The covered market is also used as a local venue for craft & farmers' markets & there are many events hosted in the town annually.
